Heath Packard represents the Genetic Biocontrol of Invasive Rodents Partnership (GBIRd) which is cautiously developing and evaluating the suitability of genetic rodent constructs with potential to control, or eradicate, invasive rodent populations on islands. Heath, a 27-year conservation professional, has a MA in Social Policy from American University, Washington, DC, and BAs in Biology/Philosophy from SUNY Oswego, NY. He is a Major Gifts Officer for www.islandconservation.org, a GBIRd partner.
